UN Women at the 55th UN Statistical Commission
55th session UN Statistical Commission

The 55th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission will be held in New York from 27 February to 1 March 2024. UN Women will be well-positioned to ensure strong representation of gender statistics across the programme of work of the Commission, through a number of strategic interventions, including on climate change statistics and citizen data.
 

Meeting of the Collaborative on Administrative Data for Statistical Purposes

The Collaborative on Administrative Data co-facilitated by UNSD and GPSDD was established in 2020 as a space for learning and sharing to strengthen the capacity of countries to produce and use administrative data sources for statistical purposes. At this side event the Members of the Collaborative, core partners, stakeholders and potentially interested countries will meet in person. The focus of the meeting will be on identifying and sharing unaddressed needs, agreeing on priorities and activities for 2024 and beyond.

 

Pathways for Empowering Women in National Statistical Office Leadership​

From Insights to Action: Shaping the Future of Citizen Data

Exploring the Risks and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in Advancing Gender Equality
