This summary brief synthesizes the findings of the 2023 Kenya Time-Use Report and the National Care Needs Assessment. Data from the time-use survey and the results of the Care Needs Assessment are already informing policies and programmes that support gender equality and being used to support the Government of Kenya to prioritize unpaid
care and domestic work in its fourth Medium Term Plan.
