2020 has been a challenging and unusual year for all of us. The COVID-19 pandemic has upended our lives and most of our best-laid plans. Yet, in the midst of it all, the Women Count team rose to the challenge and delivered incredible results. As we reflect on all we have accomplished in 2020, it is only fitting that we also highlight the people behind these results.

Partnerships are essential to our successes. Our results are driven in large part by our partners and gender data champions in government, civil society, the private sector, and across the UN system. And the Women Count programme exists because of the generous support of the Governments of Australia, Ireland, Mexico, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States; and the Alibaba Foundation, Alwaleed Philanthropies, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Elizabeth Arden.
