The statistics included in the Economic Survey use globally sound and scientific techniques that are based on the fundamental principles of official statistics. They are based on a variety of sources, including the Government of Kenya's own surveys and censuses, studies conducted by other institutions, and administrative data gathered by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, County Governments, and establishments. The report is produced by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) and was supported by UN Women.
