This Gender Equality Profile provides a framework for integrating gender equality into the National Development Strategy of Cameroon 2020-2030. It considers the geopolitical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-cultural context of the country as well as its legal and political framework for the promotion of gender, by complying with international guidelines in this area, translated in practice through the National Gender Policy.

The Gender Equality Profile focuses on the results/analysis points and recommendations for action to inform the National Development Strategy in its gender-specific policy interventions.
