Brief Description
In 2008 the Danish Government introduced new paragraphs in the Act of Social Service requiring municipalities to appoint advisors to victims of violence (women with children). After the women and children's stay at a Shelter for battered women, the advisors assist them into a new life in relation to housing, work, schools, daycare for the children etc.
