Brief Description

The President's Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons and its member agencies has announced a series of new commitments to combat human trafficking at home and abroad. These commitments stem from a strategic framework focused on raising public awareness; educating first responders and law enforcement; increasing prosecution of traffickers; protecting survivors through comprehensive social services; and partnering with civil society, state, and local government, the private sector, and faith-based organizations to maximize resources and outcomes.
