Brief Description

From 7 to 9 June 2024, a workshop titled “Ending Violence, Reducing Stigma, and Discrimination Based on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation” was conducted in Thailand for 60 individuals with hearing or communication disabilities. The workshop was part of the implementation of a curriculum developed under a 2023 Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Faculty of Public Health at Mahidol University, and the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand. The initiative aims to promote inclusive practices and reduce stigma and discrimination against individuals with diverse gender identities, in accordance with the Constitution of Thailand (B.E. 2560) and the Gender Equality Act (B.E. 2558).
