This measure presents monitoring data collected under Section 17 of the Domestic Violence Protection Act B.E. 2550, showing a decrease in reported domestic violence cases from 16,676 in 2020 to 15,707 in 2022. Data compiled by 16 relevant agencies indicate that most cases involved intimate partners or spouses, with women comprising the majority of victims. Key contributing factors included family conflict, substance abuse, and alcohol use. The majority of incidents occurred in the home.
