Brief Description

Community Family Development Centers (CFDCs) are local mechanisms established to monitor, prevent, and address family violence, with a broader aim of strengthening family well-being across communities. As of April 2023, the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development allocated funding to support 3,273 locally-tailored projects implemented by CFDCs nationwide. These projects, designed to enhance the centers' capacity to respond to family violence and promote positive family development, engaged a total of 453,465 participants.
