Brief Description

Thailand implemented the Family Institution Development Strategy (2017–2021) as part of its efforts to prevent and eliminate domestic violence. The strategy focuses on strengthening family units and fostering positive relationships through educational and social development programs. Key components include the Family School Curriculum, implemented across four regions via eight Women and Family Development Learning Centers, as well as public campaigns aimed at ending violence against children, women, and family members. The strategy also promotes systemic capacity-building to support family resilience and prevent violence.
