In 2021, Thailand allocated budgetary support to hire staff for two key service locations: the Child and Women Coordination Center in the southern border provinces and the Women’s Counseling Center at the Narathiwat Provincial Islamic Committee Office. These centers provided counseling to 37 women experiencing domestic violence and offered mediation services in four cases. The initiative aimed to strengthen localized support mechanisms for women affected by violence, particularly in conflict-prone areas.
