Between 2020 and 2021, the project “Eliminating Gender Bias and Negative Language in Primary and Secondary Education in ASEAN Member States” was implemented to promote gender equality through education and media. The initiative focused on addressing stereotypes and biases against girls and women in families, schools, and workplaces. As part of the project, modern educational media such as infographics, animations, and short films with English subtitles were developed to raise awareness about gender inequality, including issues of sexual harassment and assault. The project targeted students and educators across ASEAN countries, promoting inclusive and respectful communication from an early age.
