Brief Description

The Ministry of Health, since 2000, promote the development, adoption and implementation of standards and procedures for addressing domestic violence cases, with a basic tool for the establishment of guidelines for those dealing with individuals affected by domestic violence, through an interdisciplinary effort by the national health-care sector. Local domestic violence prevention and care networks and the Ministry's own computer systems have also been strengthened.
