The National Action Plan on Gender Equality 2018-2020 outlines specific measures and activities aimed at “building a culture of intolerance to gender discrimination and violence among women and men from all cultural and age groups of society; regular awareness raising work targeting different social, ethnic and religious groups to eliminate patriarchal views on the roles of women and men in the family and society; integrating lessons on prevention of violence against women and girls and elimination of traditional discriminatory practices in educational plans at all levels; and providing trainings to mass media on coverage of gender discrimination and violence.”
