The Ministry of Governance - Mingob carried out campaigns to prevent VAW during the pandemic through the hashtags #MeQuedoEnCasa and #ConvivoEnPaz. Likewise, the "Siempre Alertas" (Always Alert) and "No solo los golpes duelen" (It's not just the blows that hurt) campaigns to raise awareness about the different forms of violence and identify violent behaviors in couples; "Rompe con el Silencio" (Break the Silence) for the prevention of youth violence at the community level; and "Recrea mi Niñez" (Recreate my Childhood) to promote well-being, rights, and values, strengthening peaceful coexistence in boys and girls, generating a space for reflection on the prevention of violence affecting children and adolescents; promoting a culture of reporting (State of Guatemala, 2023).
