Brief Description

In 2020, the Institute for Assistance and Attention to Crime Victims (IAV) began operating as the governing body for victimological policies, providing free legal assistance, psychological care, and support in the search for alternatives and solutions to address the aftermath, implementing the Comprehensive Assistance and Care Model. From 2020 to May 2024, it has provided legal and psychological assistance to 22,923 women (IAV, 2024).

En 2020 comenzó a funcionar el Instituto para la Asistencia y Atención a la Víctima del Delito (IAV), como ente rector de las políticas victimológicas, brinda asistencia legal gratuita, atención psicológica y apoyo en la búsqueda de alternativas y soluciones para afrontar las secuelas, implementa el Modelo de Asistencia y Atención Integral. Del 2020 a mayo 2024, ha brindado asistencia legal y psicológica a 22,923 mujeres (IAV, 2024).
