In May 2023, Law No. 21.565 was published, which regulates a system of care and reparation by the State for victims of femicide and femicidal suicide, incorporating a monthly pension for the sons and daughters under 18 years of age of women victims of the crime of femicide or the crime of femicidal suicide. It also forsees the right to protection of their work and labor immunity from the perpetration of the act until one year later for the surviving victims or their families. It also establishes preferential access for victims of femicide to the social protection system of which they are users and grants special permission for other victims in order to justify their absence from work in the event of appearing in any investigative or judicial proceeding, when required by the authorities.

En mayo de 2023 se publicó la Ley N°21.565 que regula un sistema de atención y reparación por parte del Estado de las víctimas de femicidio y suicidio femicida, incorporando una pensión mensual para los hijos e hijas menores de 18 años de las mujeres víctimas del delito de femicidio consumado o del delito de suicidio femicida, como también, el derecho a la protección de su trabajo y el fuero laboral desde la perpetración del hecho hasta un año después para las víctimas sobrevivientes o sus familiares. Asimismo, establece el acceso preferente de las víctimas de femicidio al sistema de protección social del que sean usuarias y otorga un permiso especial para otras víctimas con la finalidad de justificar su ausencia laboral en el evento de comparecer en cualquier diligencia de investigación o del procedimiento judicial, cuando sea requerida por las autoridades correspondientes.
