According to the 2023 Yearbook of the Brazilian Forum on Public Security and research by Datafolha, data was collected on physical, sexual, and psychological violence against women. The findings show that 43% of Brazilian women have experienced some form of intimate partner violence in their lifetime, and nearly 29% reported victimization in the past year alone. This data informs national policy responses.
