The Solidarity Proximity Units of the Social Development Agency, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Affairs, has 269 active units distributed throughout the state. The various fields of intervention included psychological and administrative support for women in a difficult situation and the organization of information days and awareness campaigns on violence against women. The units are specialized in identifying disadvantaged populations and their needs, especially those in disadvantaged areas. They are considered as a space for mediation through the implementation of social support and development programs prepared by the Social Development Agency. It contributes to the framing of disadvantaged populations in the field of social protection and solidarity and their proximity to the social assistance interests by facilitating reading and understanding the rules of procedures in the field of social assistance.
