Pablo Castillo Díaz is a Policy Specialist on Peace and Security at UN Women. Since 2009, he has worked on preventing and responding to sexual and gender-based violence in conflict settings and ensuring that the decisions and deliberations of the UN Security Council address women’s rights and gender equality issues. He is from the Canary Islands, studied Political Science and International Relations at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and earned a PhD in Global Affairs at Rutgers University.
